With H1 finished, we wanted to reflect on the first half of 2024 and thank you for being a part of our community. It has been a great six months, with many achievements as we have continued to build the boards and leadership teams of B2C and B2B tech and tech-enabled businesses across the growth curve. Events

We hosted numerous events where we brought together hundreds of Europe's key board members and senior executives.

London Board Dinner

We kicked off our 2024 events programme in March with our 10th annual and largest ever London Board Dinner event where we brought together 400 Chairs, NEDs, CEOs, and Investors from Europe's tech ecosystem. We heard inspiring speeches from our two guest speakers: Oscar Höglund, CEO & Founder at Epidemic Sound and Anne Boden, Founder and former CEO at Starling Bank.

Tech Leaders Meet-Up

Also in March, we hosted an intimate group of some of London's leading CTO and Engineering leadership talent, convening executives from companies including Trainline, Spendesk, Meta, Bloom & Wild, Expedia, Moonpig, Shopify, and Snyk. We were privileged to hear from Milena Nikolic, Chief Technology Officer at Trainline, Nicola Bortignon, Senior Director of Engineering at Meta, Patrick Poels, former SVP Engineering at Snyk and now at Built, and Richard Rosenberg, Chief Product & Technology Officer at Spendesk.

Finance Leaders Meet-Up

In April, we hosted an intimate event for CFOs from Europe's leading tech companies including Motorway, Monzo Bank, Boohoo Group, Tide, Typeform, and Job & Talent. The evening was filled with rich discussion about the challenges that CFOs have faced in the last eighteen months and the opportunities ahead, led by Chief Financial Officers, Paolo Savini Nicci of Job&Talent and Liz Kistruck of Motorway.

B2B Software Dinner

In May, we hosted 150 VC/PE Partners, Chairs, NEDs, CEOs and C-suite executives from Europe's pre-eminent B2B Tech companies. Guests heard from two wonderful speakers, Zahra Bahrololoumi, CEO UK & Ireland at Salesforce, and Hannah Seal, Partner at Index Ventures.

People & Talent Leadership Event

In June, we hosted our annual People and Talent Leadership event where we brought together Europe's leading Chief People Officers from tech and consumer businesses as well as Talent Leaders from VC and PE funds. Our incredible speakers included Aileen O'Toole, former Chief People Officer at Prosus Group & Naspers, and Rose Deschamps, VP Human Capital, EMEA at TA Associates, who talked about their experiences of scaling global tech companies.

In addition to our own events, we also had the pleasure of partnering with LocalGlobe for their People Leadership Dinner at Phoenix Court.

Thank you to all of the speakers and attendees who made our events so rewarding. We are passionate about adding value to the tech ecosystem through our events and we look forward to continuing this in the second half of the year.
