Last night we hosted our annual B2B Software Dinner in London, bringing together 150 VC/PE Partners, Chairs, NEDs, CEOs and C-suite executives from companies including Salesforce, SumUp, Thought Machine, Exclaimer, InPost, PPRO, Modulr, Ardoq, Curve, Trustpilot, Accel-KKR, Warburg Pincus, Index Ventures, Goldman Sachs, Eurazeo, Octopus Ventures, OMERS, and many others. It was an inspiring evening of networking with this diverse and talented group.

We heard from two fantastic speakers: Zahra Bahrololoumi, CEO UK & Ireland at Salesforce and Hannah Seal, Partner at Index Ventures. Zahra kicked off proceedings, discussing the AI boom, and her experiences as a diverse leader in tech. Zahra implored the audience to embed a responsible approach towards building AI to ensure that it is inclusive to all that it will impact. Following Zahra, Hannah provided insight into how venture funds are thinking about investing in B2B technology and how the emergence of AI will enable this space to build some of the most transformative companies seen to date. Hannah also discussed the impact of AI on the future of work and presented a cautiously optimistic view that the workforce will be freed up to spend more time on creative tasks as opposed to having their roles removed.
